Blog post by Marco Altini Here is a preview of a few usability improvements we made for the next version of HRV4Training, available in a few days on the Apple Store. RemindersReminders were not included HRV4Training for a long time, mainly because we think they do not really work when timing is so important for consistency. You probably wake up at consistent times but not always at the exact same time and a reminder would always be at the same time. Additionally, there are some limitations around what apps can do, for example we cannot really replicate an alarm clock app and link it to HRV4Training, as custom apps can't play sounds when for example the phone is in silent mode.
We decided to include it this way, hoping it provides some help. Night modeQuite a few of you started asking for a less bright version of the app, as it is used first thing in the morning. We finally managed to work on this, and the entire app can now be set to night mode, as usual from your Settings. See a preview of the main screens below. We hope you'll find these features useful and have a better experience with the app. We also added a few fixes and improved the user interface for the latest iPhones with higher resolutions.
