I use HRV4Training to track my stress load so I know how to adjust my training, my nutrition, and all other lifestyle aspects that contribute to my overall stress burden. I also have my clients use it for the same purpose. I’m currently finishing up a test run (I limited it to 15 women) of an online course I created to help women in their 30’s and 40’s learn how to decrease their stress load in order to manage hormonal balance and weight, and the HRV4Training app is what they all use for tracking their progress and learning which lifestyle factors make the biggest impact for them. |

I have been competing in Powerlifting (IPF) since 2009 till today and I work as a self-employed strength & conditioning coach and assistant teacher in college. Currently studying a MS.c. in Sports Sciences Research to become a PhD in a few years. My main areas of interest are powerlifting, strength training, velocity based training, heart rate variability and stress.
I use HRV4training with myself and some of my trainees. With HRV4training I see how different stressors affect HRV and with that information I take better choices with programming. For example, I can decide to lower training volume or incorporate additional recovery modalities if my HRV is lower than normal for a few weeks. |

We use HRV4Training in a couple of ways. First, we use it as a tool to help the athlete better understand the relationship between training/recovery/stress and their performance. Second, we use it as a mechanism through which the athlete can communicate how they are feeling to their coach using a common language. Third, we are able to identify individualized patterns and it allows us to better monitor training progress - helping us know when to push harder and when to back off. |

Triathlon Coach - level 2 British Triathlon
Competitive athlete, having regularly competed for GB age group (Best result being a European Gold Medal). I had a baby in 2019 of this year and so the comeback has begun. It has provided a constant piece of data to allow analysis to take place, and a yardstick as to whether you should be taking a rest. |

I’ve been doing triathlons for few years now. What started as a weight loss goal (I was way over 90kgs), ended up becoming a true passion. I’ve finished 7 Ironman races and many 70.3 and shorter distances and now I’m trying to qualify for 70.3 worlds.
Being a software engineer I’m a data geek so I try to measure and quantify everything I can. I’ve been using HRV4Training to correlate how I feel to how my training goes, I’ve learned that sometimes I should push harder when I don’t feel like doing so (but my HRV is in green), other times to take it easier when I’d like to push. |

I am based in the Loughborough National Training Centre for Swimming, working with the coaches of multiple Commonwealth, World and Olympic medal winning swimmers. I have used HRV4Training for over three years, having worked to demonstrate the validity of PPG technology for HRV measurement back in 2016; dramatically altering the cost:benefit sum previously associated with HRV in the favour of the athlete. I personally use HRV4Training to guide adjustments to my training periodisation based on weekly trends, to inform my return to training after illnesses, and in line with other metrics even use it to guide daily decision making around the intensity of the session I do. Working in elite sport I also use the coaching platform as a starting point for conversations with coaches around their athlete's training, wellness and adaptation. |

I'm an Ultra Marathon runner based out of Wanaka in New Zealand. In 2020 I'm training for two 100km races that are part of the Ultra-Trail World Tour - Tarawera Ultra Marathon and Ultra-Trail Australia. I spend a lot of time in the mountains and out on adventures. I enjoy learning new skills and also cross-train with cycling and swimming. I use HRV4Training to monitor my heart rate daily and look for early signs of overtraining or other abnormalities and adjust my training accordingly. |
True to my motto, I support each of my customers with advice and knowledge about sports and nutrition. As a personal trainer and coach, I look after a wide range of clients - from health-conscious sports beginners to high-performance and professional athletes. Thorough diagnostics and targeted nutrition are, in my view, the most valuable building blocks for health-oriented and efficient training. I use HRV4Training daily for screening of my physical status |

I have been doing cycling competitively since i was 11. this year I have been unwell after an operation in December and then some broken bones... in accidents this year. So currently I'm on the build to get back to racing for my Belgium team in mid 2020. I find HRV4Training useful as a tool to gauge my training load. Which is important as I'm starting from zero fitness.
I have been suffering from a sinus infection for most of 2018 while racing in Europe. HRV4Training enabled me to manage racing, training and being sick an on antibiotics. HRV4Training helped me to have my most successful season thus far. |
