She received a PhD in Nutritional Biology, and is a Nutrition Consultant, Educator, Speaker, and Competitive Runner. She finds that running serves many parallels to her other endeavors. She discovered HRV4Training at the same time as signing up for the Jungle Ultra 2019, this is a 230km run, self-supported through the Amazon rainforest. The training is grueling, so using the HRV4training app is certainly helping with the progressive training load. |

He feels that HRV4Training is a massive part of his training data and wouldn't develop long term training plans without this data now. |

Of course, now it's more about 'making time for herself ' rather than, 'making sure she has a certain fitness for the race' but she is convinced that staying fit, healthy, and strong is crucial, for everybody. Her family has a history of kidney failures, strokes, heart attacks and hypertension. She'd like to represent women, people, who don’t want to lose themselves. That has a need for an escape, for accomplishing their personal goals through training. Everybody deserves to pursue self-improvement. Especially if it makes us have more energy, more motivation for exploiting life at its best, the longest we can, against all the odds. |

Three years ago, Bart started doing triathlons. With his background being a swimmer, he was used to training quite a lot, but not putting stress on his body by training three separate disciplines.
He's always been a big believer in being guided by feel but as his triathlon training volume and intensity went up, he noticed the balancing act got harder and harder. "HRV4Training is the best of both worlds to me, at one hand the insight in raw data, on the other the user input for subjective parameters. With the recovery score that is reported back I could better manage my own program and make better decisions to push through certain training days or take more rest for better recovery" |

Alain is currently Head Coach for Takapuna Grammar Cycle Club. The school team is the largest co-ed team in New Zealand and comprises around 50 kids at the moment.
Alain does have a real job (Property Developer) so all their training tends to be pre-dawn. School Cycling in New Zealand is also a winter sport, so it’s nearly always dark, and often raining! To be a coach requires the ability to keep up with some of New Zealand’s finest school cyclists – he has to train harder and longer just to stay near them! To do this, he tries and races as much as he can, which is great fun when you are nearly 50. |

Dave has been involved in some sort of sport for as long as he can remember.
He grew up playing soccer, cricket, rugby, rowing and among all that always loved running. He took up triathlons about 6 years ago and now also races road bikes as well. Dave is 41 and obviously doesn't recover as quickly as he did when he was younger so he's conscious of getting the best return he can from every training session. Monitoring his HRV and listening to his body means he can train as effectively as he possibly can any given day. |

Her now-husband started training her for a marathon near the end of college, but added in quite a bit of biking and swimming due to her injury history. Eventually, after getting married on the day of the Ironman World Championships in 2012, he figured they should attempt to qualify for this famous event themselves as a way to celebrate their 1-year wedding anniversary. Jacqui and her husband qualified in June of 2013 and have been racing in the Ironman World Championships every year since. |

Gabriele is a 22 years old passionate runner attending a master’s in science degree at Bocconi University in Managament. His “career” as a runner starts at 18yrs old after crossing his first half marathon’s finish line. Since then, his goal has been to achieve his best performance and pushing his limits a bit far away every time he takes part in a race. Simon is a 24 years old BSc student of social science. He has been working with athletes for around 4 years now.
His path lead him to cycling few years ago after his knee injury. He was hooked from the start. He had to know everything. Why do we train like that?, why intervals?, what about intensity? how much recovery do we need?, when do we need it. Trying new things, improving training process became his work and since last year he started his own coaching company. Enhancing human performance is his “what is the meaning of life” question. |
